For much of the project, the building sat behind protective scaffolding and sheeting. The real moment came with the unveiling—revealing refreshed fa?ades and renewed communal spaces that now sit confidently within their surroundings.
We were appointed to reinvigorate this four-storey residential building, completing full external redecoration alongside upgrades to high foot-fall internal areas used daily by residents. The aim was not to modernise for its own sake, but to enhance the building so it feels well cared for and consistent with neighbouring properties.
Materials were selected for durability and heritage suitability. KEIM UK exterior paints were chosen for their breathability and long-term performance on traditional facades, while Dulux coatings were used internally to provide resilience within communal areas.
Alongside the decorative works, a full fire upgrade was completed to the internal communal staircase, including walls and ceilings. Torrex 3 fire-rated coatings from Tor Coatings were applied, ensuring compliance with current fire safety standards while maintaining a clean, refined finish.
The result is a building that feels refreshed, compliant and quietly confident—enhanced for modern use without losing its character.
